John Paul Williams

John Paul Williams, 71, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022 in his home.

A visitation and service will be held at Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS on Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm, with funeral at 3:00 pm.

John was born on March 20, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois to Charles Williams and Mary Arlene Quinlan.

Always valuing all things in life, John put family and friends above all. He lived life with the intention of leaving a mark; that he did. He loved spending time socializing, playing and watching football, going golfing, sharing his knowledge of history and making someone smile. It wasn’t just about the activity for him, as it was just as much about the people he could share the fun with. We’re all better because of John and his presence in our lives will be sincerely missed.

John is preceded in death by his parents. John is survived by his son, Jesse Williams; ex spouse Cathy Williams; brothers David Williams and Scott Williams; and sisters Paula Lawrence, Mary Williams, and Maureen Williams Owen.
