Ada Mae Smith

Ada Mae Smith, 84, of Westwood, Kansas, passed away Monday, November 22, 2010 at St. Luke's Hospital.

Mae was born February 24, 1926 to the late Alf and Jenny (Rand) Blair in Elizabeth, Arkansas. Mae married Otho Smith December 3, 1941. He preceded her in death after 59 years of marriage.

She enjoyed gardening and growing her own flowers. As a pastor's wife she was always willing to lend a hand wherever the church needed her.

Mae is survived by three sons, Carroll Smith and wife LaRue; Larry W. Smith, and Ronnie Smith and wife Pam; a daughter Patricia Stuart and husband Darren; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 29, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 30 at the Chapel. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.
