Adam Carl Scott, 35, passed away on October 1st, 2021. He was born on August 15th, 1986 in Smithville, MO to Richard and Kathie Scott.

He went to North Kansas City High School, received his associate’s degree, and then went to cosmetology school at Cutting Edge Hairstyling Academy. Adam has been enjoying his employment at Salon Modern Classics since June of this year.

Adam was a kind person with a great sense of humor. He had a contagious smile and laughter and always found a way to make things fun. He was fiercely loyal to family and friends and genuinely cared for everyone and had friends of all ages from all walks of life. Adam was loved by clients and coworkers alike and would always try to leave people better than he found them, both in the chair at the salon and in life with his family and friends. He was an especially talented stylist, loved by his clients. He was always trying to find ways to better his work and himself and it showed in his friendships and styling talent.

Adam also dearly loved all dogs and especially his recently deceased dog Vinny.

Friends have described him as an encourager, a gentleman, great listener and kind soul. An amazing person who seemed to find a way into the hearts of everyone’s family. He will be greatly missed.

Adam is survived by his parents, Richard and Kathie Scott. He also has a sister, Sally who is married to Nathan Pierce of Collinsville IL. Adam has a nephew and niece, Aidan and Norah Pierce.

A visitation will be held at Amos Family Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 7th, 2021. A funeral service will take place Friday, October 8th also at Amos Family Funeral Home at 10:30 am.
