Agnes M. States

Agnes States, 82, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away on November 11th, 2021. She was born on November 13th, 1938 in Kimeo, Kansas to Joseph and Lelah Diederich. A visitation will take place on Monday, November 15th from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Amos Family Funeral Home in Shawnee, Kansas. Funeral service to follow at 10:00 AM. Burial to take place at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Kimeo, Kansas at 2:30 PM.

Agnes was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the VFW and American Legion. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Max and brother, Marion. She is survived by her son, Derrick (Katherine) States; brother, Jim (Sandra) Diederich and two grandchildren, Delaney Norton and Phoebe States. Memorial donations may be donated to American Legion Post 370.
