Alan Ray Schmitz

Alan Ray Schmitz, 59, of Tonganoxie, KS, passed away on July 20th, 2018.  He was born on October 25th, 1958 in Farmington, New Mexico to Harold and Erma Schmitz.  Alan retired from the Laborers Local Union 1290. Alan is preceded in death by his parents and niece, Brandie Lee Simpson-Schmitz.  He is survived by his daughter, Holly Masner; grandson, Nathan Masner; fur baby Jake; sister, Rose (Terry) DeCourcy; brother, Jim (Gwen) Schmitz; sisters, Bonnie Schmitz; and Paula (Holms) Schmitz; nieces, Sonya Harding; Cara DeCourcy; nephew, Sean DeCourcy; nieces Dena Smith; Brandi McGinnis; Dannah Campbell; and longtime friend, Brenda Campbell.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 28th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Dr., Shawnee, KS, 66203.  A procession to Hubbel Hill Cemetery will immediately follow the visitation.
