Alice L. Yoest, 67, of Prairie Village, KS passed away September 24, 2016 after a long fight with Multiple Systems Atrophy. She died peacefully at her home with family by her side.
Alice was born to the late Joseph and Elsie Grim, April 3, 1949 in Columbia, MO. Alice attended Hickman High School where she met her husband of 49 years, L. David Yoest. She graduated from the University of Missouri with a BA in Childhood Education in 1971. Together they relocated to Prairie Village, KS and raised three sons.
Her passion was her family. Alice dedicated herself to her husband, three sons, and grandchildren. She adored her family, and cherished every moment with them. Together they created a lifetime of memories. In addition to family, Alice had passion for friends, animals, and antiques.
Alice is survived by a loving husband, L. David Yoest; three sons: Joe and wife Leslie, Jason and wife Vina, and Taylor and wife Robbie; four grandchildren: RJ, Braxton, Teagan, and Zachary; and two sisters: Josette and Peggy.
