Alison D. Oxley

Alison D. Oxley, age 51, passed away on Feb. 8th, 2021.

Alison was born on October 27, 1969. She lived all of her life in The Kansas City area and worked for the USPS for many years. She fought a brave and hard battle against cancer. She loved her family, especially her grandbabies, camping and treasure hunting for a good bargain. Alison was a strong, independent, unapologetic woman and lived life on her own terms.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Scott Cardiff IV. She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Rogers,  Father, John Rockhold. Two daughters, Brandy Cothren & Ava Oxley, son-in-law, Kevin Cothren, two grandsons, Jack & Hank, and granddaughter, Olive. She is also survived by two sisters, Carlene Harter & Leah Clayton and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held Saturday, Feb. 20th at Amos Family Funeral Home in Shawnee, KS with graveside services following at Pleasant View Cemetery.
