Amy Fredericks

Amy Fredericks, 51, of Shawnee, KS passed away on May 23rd, 2020.  She was born on May 31st, 1968 in Kansas City, MO to Peter and Barbara Koperski.  Amy was involved with Meals on Wheels, St. Joseph grade school PTO and made food for the homeless shelters around Kansas City.  She enjoyed gardening, decorating, event planning and cooking.

During her career, Amy worked as an Account Executive in the Advertising/Marketing industry for 15 years. She earned a Bachelors Degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas and was also a licensed real estate agent.  She married Ron Fredericks on January 15th, 1994 and spent the last 14 years raising her daughter, Katie, and performing all administrative duties for the home business.  Amy was a very loving and dedicated wife and mother.

Amy was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Koperski.  She is survived by her husband, Ron Fredericks; daughter, Katie Fredericks; father, Peter Koperski; and brothers, Mike and Steve Koperski.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
