Amy Suzanne Thimmesch, of Mission, Kansas, passed away on January 12, 2012. Amy was born in Merriam, Kansas, on December 19, 1976, to Carl and Barbara Thimmesch.

Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ida and Carl Thimmmesch and her grandfather, William Brohl.

Amy is survived by her mother and father, Carl and Barbara Thimmesch; her maternal grandmother, Margaret Brohl; sister Emily Davis and husband, Nicholas; brother, Steve Thimmesch and wife Amanda; three nieces, Madison, Abigail and Jullian Thimmesch; and two nephews, Tyler Davis and Landon Thimmesch.

Amy graduated from St. Pius X Elementary School in Mission. She attended Bishop Miege High School and graduated from Beloit High School. She attended Kansas City Kansas Community College.

Amy was a loving and caring daughter, granddaughter, sister and aunt. All those who knew Amy appreciated her energetic and upbeat personality and her sense of humor. She could brighten any room with her smile. Amy was family orientated and loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. Amy never knew a stranger and made friends everywhere she went. She will be remembered for her generosity and kindness. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be at from 6:00-7:30 p.m., Monday, January 16, 2012, at St. Pius Catholic Church, 5500 Woodson, Mission, Kansas, Mass of Christian Burial will at 10:00 a.m., January 17, 2012, at the church. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery.
