Andrea Renee Illausky

Andrea Renee Illausky, 40, of Lenexa, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013, at the Kansas City Hospice House.

Andrea was born October 17, 1972, to Patrick and Mary Ellen Forbes in Eureka, Kansas. After graduating from Eureka High School in 1991, she earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Kansas State University and a Medical Technology degree from KU Med in 1998. While at K-State, Andrea met Mark Illausky, who she married on August 10, 2002, at her childhood church in Eureka, Kansas.

Andrea was active with the children's ministry at Harvest Ridge Covenant Church. She was also a member of P.E.O.

Andrea is survived by her loving husband Mark; son, Alexander Illausky; parents, Patrick and Mary Ellen Forbes; brother, Michael Forbes and his wife Jennifer; and two nephews, Andrew and Blake.

A Celebration of Andrea’s Life will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Harvest Ridge Covenant Church in Shawnee.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care.
