Ann Baker

b. May 14, 1947

Ann Baker was born May 14, 1947 to Floyd and Aileen (Hull) Wright in Fort Scott, Kansas. She attended Eugene Ware Elementary School and Fort Scott Junior High. She moved with her family to Overland Park, Kansas, in 1963. Ann graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband Dennis L. Baker, a son, Gary L. Williams, Jr., her parents Floyd P. Wright and Mary Aileen (Hull) Wright and one sister Sharon J. Wright.

She is survived by one son, Gary B. Williams of Mission, Kansas; one daughter Alison Hettenbach and her husband David, Indianpolis, Indiana; four grandchildren, Dakota Williams, Kaley Williams, Kyle Williams and Elijah Hettenbach; three sisters, Glenda Henson, Mission, Kansas, Wanda Wright, Overland Park, Kansas, Stacy Wright, Highlands Ranch, Colorado; one brother, Larry Wright, Shawnee, Kansas; one sister in law, Kelly Seiter, Liberty, Missouri; and one brother in law, Brett Baker, Lee’s Summit, Missouri. She is also survived by five nieces and nephews; eleven great nieces and nephew;, numerous cousins; and many special friends.

In lieu of flowers, you may donate funds in her memory to Antioch Church of the Nazarene, 7600 Antioch Road, Overland Park, Kansas 66204.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, June 26, 2010, at Antioch Church of the Nazarene, with a funeral service to follow at 10:30 a.m.
