Ann Fuhr

Ann Fuhr, 65, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away February 28, 2013.

Ann was born January 16, 1948 in Kansas City, Kansas, to Joe and Harriet (Strong) Zuger. She attended St. John's Grade School and graduated from Ward High School. She received her teaching degree from KU, and taught school in Kansas City, Kansas, for many years. Ann, along with her husband owned and operated Fuhr Furniture in Shawnee.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years Don Fuhr; son Mike Fuhr; brother-in-law Richard Fuhr; aunt, Flo (Zuger) Tringale; and many cousins and friends.

Ann will be forever remembered for her generosity, caring nature, and eternal zest for life.

A visitation will be from 9:30-11:00 a.m., Monday, March 4, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Shawnee. Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m., with burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sisters Servants of Mary, Kansas City, Kansas.
