Ann M. Gioiosa

Ann M. Gioiosa, 91, passed away on April 29th, 2018 in Olathe, KS.  She was born on June 28th, 1926 to Carmen and Mary Gioiosa in Blue Island, Illinois.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenneth Gioiosa; and dearest friend, Janet Morris.  Survivors include cousins, Ester Baker, Mark (Holly) Renteria; Linda Carey; Steve (Claudia) Renteria; David De Mato; Christopher De Mato, and many other cousins; lifelong friends, Kate Dawson; Betsy (Tom) Weber; Jim Lacy and the family; along with many other friends.  The family would like to send a big thank you to the staff at Villa St. Francis and the Catholic Community Hospice for their sincere loving care for Ann.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 5th at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5500 Woodson Mission, KS 66202.  Interment will be held at a later date at St. Benedict Cemetery in Crestwood, Illinois.

Memorial donations in Ann's name may be made to Villa St. Francis or The Catholic Community Hospice.
