Anna Jane Brulez

The Lord called Anna Jane Brulez to Heaven on Monday, December 23, 2013. Anna was born November 10, 1926 in Kansas City, KS to Emil and Lillie Van De Berghe. She was a lifelong Shawnee resident and a proud Belgian. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Terry Jane Wonder, a sister, Norma Pflumm, and a brother, John Van De Berghe. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Marchel Brulez; sons, John and wife, Pam Brulez, of Olathe, KS and Gary and wife, Pam Brulez, of Lenexa; a sister, Betty Zarda, of Shawnee, KS; seven grandchildren, Kelly, Kristy, Brenan, Johnny, Brian, Morgan, and Charlie and five great grandchildren.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 7 p.m., Friday at the Amos Family Funeral Home where the Rosary will be prayed at 5 p.m.
