Anna Seelbach, 92, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012, at Sunrise of Lenexa.
Anna was born to Charles and Mary Peresta on December 8, 1919, in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She was the oldest of three children. Anna married Louis H. Seelbach in 1945. She left her job as an inspector at General Electric to raise their two daughters.
She was devoted to her Byzantine Catholic Church, St. Gregory's in Lakewood, Ohio. Since moving to Lenexa in 2002, Anna was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church where she was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Circle #421.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband Louis and daughter Carol Ann (Coats). She is survived by her daughter Mariann Slavik and husband Gerald, of Lenexa, with whom she lived for the last several years. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Matthew Slavik, Cathy (Slavik) Clark, Chrissy (Slavik) McClure, and Grace (Coats) Oslund, as well as five great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2012, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Lenexa, Kansas. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the Church starting at 10 a.m.
