Annabelle Murray

Annabelle Murray, 86, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away September 25th, 2022 surrounded by her family.

A visitation will be held Thursday, September 29th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Amos Family Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, September 30th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., also at the funeral home.

Annabelle was born July 19th, 1936 in Youngsville, Louisiana to Morenas and Nolia Comeaux.  She quit school after 8th grade to help with the family farm, but years later as an adult she earned her GED.

She met and married her husband, Buck in 1965, moved to Overland Park, Kansas and they were married for 41 years until his death in 2006. She worked in banking for all of her working career. She enjoyed fishing, camping, playing cards and bowling with friends and family. Later in life she became very active in her church, playing handbells and participating in the food pantry.

Annabelle is preceded in death by her parents; her husband MJ “Buck” Murray, her sisters, Merline DuBois and Janelle Vallot and one brother, Larry Comeaux.

She is survived by her daughter Melissa and her husband Jim Neuer, her oldest brother, Robert Comeaux, niece Carma Hirons, stepdaughter, Brenda Shepherd, stepson Dennis Outt, and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
