Anthony “Tony” Hitchcock

Anthony (Tony) Frederick Hitchcock passed away March 9, 2021.

Tony Hitchcock was born May 3, 1937, to Charles and Eliza Minnie Hitchcock in Dagenham, England.  Tony moved to America in 1958, following his first love, Sheila Arnold.  Tony and Sheila married April 25, 1959.  Sheila Hitchcock passed away July 27, 2007.

Tony was blessed to find love again and married his second love Michele Berson on June 4, 2011.

Tony had a long career as a mechanical engineer with various companies throughout his life.  Tony was continually active in American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE), even holding the office of Past President.

Tony never met a stranger, seized the day every day, and always saw the cup as half full.  Tony loved his grandkids, traveling, golf, movies, soccer and dancing.  He was much loved and will be missed by everyone's lives he touched.

Survivors include Tony's wife of almost ten years, Michele Berson, three daughters, Tanya Koch (Husband-Michael Koch), Keisha DeZube (Husband-Doug DeZube), Kim Deves (Husband-Tim Deves), two stepdaughters, Lisa Boon (Husband-David Boon), Jennifer Lassman (Husband-Jon Lassman); twelve grandchildren; Henry Koch, Mary Koch, Benjamin DeZube, Samuel DeZube, Charlie DeZube, Jackson Deves, Matthew Deves, Mary-Kate Deves, Nathan Boon, Charlie Boon, Norah Lassman, Theo Lassman.

Services will be held at Church of the Resurrection, 11 am on March 16, 2021 in the Wesley Chapel, 13720 Roe Ave, Leawood, KS 66224. The service will also be live streamed at  cor.org/memorialsonline
