Arla F. Wilkerson, 93, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away on December 18, 2023. She was born on January 22, 1930, in Horton, Kansas, to Albert and Alice (James) Hill.
Arla is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Ted Wilkerson and their daughter, Linda Ferguson. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Jim) Jobe; son, Tim (Nancy) Wilkerson; and 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1948. Arla enjoyed art, sewing, music, reading, and was very creative. Her two favorite occupations were being a secretary at Shawnee Church of the Nazarene and being a grandmother.
Visitation on Friday, December 22, 2023, from 10-11am at Shawnee Church of the Nazarene with a funeral service to immediately follow. Burial at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
