Audrey Sesto

February 1, 1939 — August 28, 2015

Audrey Kathleen (McAndrews) Sesto, 76, of Overland Park, Kansas, and an Omaha native passed away August, 28, 2015 at Kansas City Hospice House.

Audrey was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on February 1, 1939. She was one of 13 siblings. Audrey’s most important job in life was raising her six children and she took pride in doing so. She moved to Kansas City in 1973 and here is where she would reside until her final day. She lived a simple life and always tried to root for the underdog and of course, the Chiefs. She loved making someone’s day by asking about their lives and caring about their needs. She always kept the conversation going, enjoyed spending time with her family and keeping her friends laughing with her funny sense of humor, love of the Irish, and beautiful heart! She was proud of her children and didn’t let a conversation go by without mentioning one of them. She is deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Burt and Audrey McAndrews, brothers, Mike, Jack, Jim, Pat, and Burt McAndrews and sister Mary Sick, and her son Gerald Timothy Sesto. She is survived by her sons Anthony, Michael, Thomas (Grace), Joseph (Leah) and daughter, Karen (Jeff Oddo) and their father, Thomas A. Sesto, Grandchildren Romano, Kari, Joey, Jared, Drew, Savannah, Alyssa and Olivia. Brothers, Duane and Mary Helen McAndrews, Tim and Cheryl McAndrews, Dennis and Leslie McAndrews, Sisters, Jeanie and John Johnston, Carol Farris, Judy and Dick Johnson and several nieces and nephews.
