Audrey Villines

Audrey Villines died January 7, 2018 at age 55 in her Overland Park, KS home from complications related to lung and brain cancer.  She was born October 9th 1962, in Kansas City, MO.

Audrey is preceded in death by her mother Marjorie White and brothers, Richard Leichter and Matt (Linda) Villines. She is survived by her father and stepmom, Elton & Diane Villines.  Sisters Renae Sherkat, (Jeff Ost) and Lenora Leichter: nieces Chloé and Katie Sherkat, and Serena Leichter as well as many other wonderful family members and friends.

Audrey graduated from Shawnee Mission East High, attended KU and earned degrees in Marketing & Business at Mid-America Nazarene University.  She was a dedicated employee at The Sunflower Group and Farmers Insurance.  Audrey loved spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing tennis, enjoying music, reading and watching movies.  She was gifted with amazing wit and humor and was always the life in any gathering.  She was an incredible daughter, sister, aunt and friend.  She was always evolving, living one day at a time and that gave her renewed purpose, peace and serenity.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Shawnee, KS, Civic Center (13817 Johnson Drive) from 3:00-5:00 PM, Sunday February 4th.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society.
