Barbara Ann Burger (Belt), 82, passed away on May 20, 2017. Barbara was born August 17, 1934 in Kansas City, Kansas. She graduated from Turner High School, earned her BSN from St. Margaret’s School of Nursing, then dedicated the next 50+ years to caring for others. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Charles, her parents, Tony and Sophie and her brothers, Bob and Tom. She is survived by her children, Joan Weiss (Mike), Jeff Burger, Susan Evans, Jane Beebe, John Burger and Elizabeth George; by her grandchildren, Eric George, Brooke Beebe, John George, Brian Weiss, Caitlyn Olson, Danny Beebe, Julia Weiss, Erin Beebe, Emily George and Jamie George; by her sister, Carol Morton, brother Bill Belt and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24 at Amos Family Funeral Home 10901 Johnson Dr., Shawnee, KS.
