Barbara M. Jones

Barbara M. Jones, 66, Shawnee, Kansas, passed away Friday, December 14, 2012, at the Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kansas.

Barbara was born February 26, 1946, in Ottawa, Kansas, to Emmett and Nina Kring. She was a 1964 graduate of Turner High School. On July 1, 1966, Barbara married Henry H. Jones at the Holiday Baptist Church, Holiday, Kansas. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was very active in the work of God. She was a member of the Village West Family Church in Kansas City, Kansas.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by husband, Henry H. Jones; two sons, Jeffrey Jones and wife, Jennifer and Jeremy Jones and wife, Tammy all of Shawnee, Kansas; two sisters, Carole Havlin and husband, Al, Leawood, Kansas and Denyse Lero and husband, Lenny, Shawnee, Kansas; brother, Dave Kring and wife, Michelle, Lenexa, Kansas; and six grandchildren, Regan, Gavin, Sydney, Garrison, Colton and Adison Jones.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at the funeral home; burial in Edwardsville Cemetery, Edwardsville, Kansas.
