Bernadine Mary Asher, 87, passed away December 15, 2015. Bernadine was born October 8, 1928 in KC, KS to John and Alice Markiewicz. Bernadine is survived by her children, Theresa (Michael) Haire, Larry (Ann) Asher, Beth (Doug) Ross, Rosemarie (Tony) Fantham, her sister, Sr. Josephine Markiewicz OSB, son-in-law, Jim Seigneur, twelve grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Bernadine was preceded in death by her husband, Bernie, daughter, Geri Seigneur. Her service to God and her family was her life's work. She touched the lives of so many people.

Services

A Visitation is set for 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 7, 2016 at The Amos Family Funeral Home 10901 Johnson Drive Shawnee, Kansas 66203. A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 10:00 AM, Friday, January 8, 2016 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church 12800 W. 75th Street Shawnee, Kansas 66216. Burial will take place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
