Betty Flora Hjorth, 91, passed away April 29, 2015 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Betty was born on May 5, 1923 in Ottawa, KS to Dr. Homer and Ruth Flora. Betty is survived by brother, Homer Flora Jr., nieces, Phyllis Hill, Maggie Stroud, Carissa Vandagriff, Janice Riff, three grandchildren; Jason Smith, Toby Smith, Amy Stutzman, and their families, and special friend, Mary Valentine. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, husband Dean Hjorth, son, John Hjorth, daughter, Rebecca Hjorth. A special thanks to the nursing staff at Overland Park Regional Medical Center ICU for their compassionate care.

A graveside service is set for 12:00 PM, Monday May 4, 2015 at Highland Cemetery in Ottawa, KS.
