Betty Jean Nolting, 91, of Shawnee, KS, passed away quietly on Dec. 16, 2019.

She was born on Sept. 26, 1928, in Kansas City, KS, to Josephus and Bessie White.  Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Creton Nolting; daughter, Sharen Nolting. She is survived by her children, Larry Wray (Lori) Nolting, Karen Fisher; grandchildren, Adam Fisher, Jason Fisher, Lucas Nolting, Hannah Nolting; great-grandchildren, Rowyn McAnulla-Fisher, Ruby Fisher, Bodi Ancsin-Fisher, and Elek Ancsin-Fisher.

Betty was employed by Hallmark Cards, Ted's Manufacturing and Intercollegiate Press. She was an avid gardener, raising 50+ varieties of Iris. Betty also enjoyed making quilts, completing over 100 in her lifetime.  She was a charter member of Lenexa Baptist Church and was a lifelong follower of Christ.

Visitation and Services

Visitation on Thursday, Dec. 19, at Amos Family Funeral Home from 6-8 pm. Funeral service at 10 am on Friday at Lenexa Baptist Church. Burial at Pleasant View Cemetery in Shawnee, KS.
