Beverly “Joanne” Arnold

Joanne Arnold, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, great grandmother and friend, 84, of Overland Park, KS passed away peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018 at Brookdale/Rosehill. Joanne was born in Lawrence, KS to Wiley and Florence (Herren) Jewel. She and her twin sister Jeanne Turner arrived on May 17th, 1934. She was married to Max E. Arnold on December 26th, 1951 in Kansas City and welcomed two daughters Kathy (Hector) Carrizales and Cindy Frary. Joanne spent her career in real estate beginning in 1957 and continued until her retirement in 2015, mainly as the executive officer for the Johnson County Board of Realtors. She will be joining her husband, parents, and in-laws. She will be warmly remembered by her sister, daughters, 5 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

A visitation is from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm Sunday, August 12th at Amos Family Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 10:00 am Monday, August 13th at Amos Family Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
