Beverly Page

Beverly Ruth Page passed away at age 95 in Lenexa, KS on August 6th, 2024. Beverly was born to L.D. and Edith Vansandt on July 1st, 1929 at the family farm near Archie, MO, one of nine children.

In 1948 she married Navy veteran Oren Wm (Bill) Page Jr. and settled in Kansas City, Kansas. After a few years raising two children, she entered the workforce, eventually advancing into Personnel Management and retired as an EEOC Compliance Officer. Upon retirement in 1984, they moved to Lenexa, KS.

Always interested in sports, she played basketball in high school, was an avid water skier, and one of the founding commissioners of the Southern Wyandotte County Softball Association. In retirement, she and Bill traveled frequently. For her last great adventure, at age 85, she went sky diving.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her parents, five brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her sister, Edith Mae Henley; two children, John and Rebecca; two grandchildren, Tom and Abby; four great-grandchildren, Delia, Jasper, Nora and Eden and many nephews and nieces.

A visitation will be held at Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, in Shawnee, KS on August 17th from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
