Billie Max Dye, 81, passed away on July 19, 2013 at his Belton, Missouri, home.

He was a skilled hunter and fisherman, and an avid Kansas City sports fan. Bill served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a member of the America Legion Post 0019, Gardner, Kansas.

He is survived by daughters, Patricia Sparks, Renee Dye, Rhonda Dye; granddaughter, Megan Sparks, his loving companion, Helen Fann and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and sister-in-law. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, eldest daughter, Debra Maloney, and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, July 26, 2013, at Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas.
