Billy Drew Lockett

Billy Drew Lockett, 76, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away April 20, 2010, at Providence Medical Center.

Billy was born in Macon, Missouri, on October 29, 1933, to Lonnie and Bernice Lockett. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He loved dogs, surfing the internet, and eating his fair share of sweets.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, three bothers, and one great grandson. Survivors include his wife Mildred Lockett; his four children, Barbara Robertson, Sharon Irvine, Karen Aerni, and Timothy Lockett; and two sisters, Oleta Nichols and Linda Percel.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Bonner Springs Church of Christ, 419 E. Morse Avenue, Bonner Springs, Kansas 66012.

Visitation and Funeral Service

A visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Funeral service will be at 11 am, Friday, April 23, 2010 at Bonner Springs Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
