Bob Wilson, 56, of Merriam, Kansas, passed away November 22, 2010. He was born Nov. 5, 1954 in Oak Park, Illinois, to Harvey and Louise (Allessi) Wilson.
Bob recently retired as the CFO for the Department of Labor. He was a proud member of the Second Christian Church of Atchison. He was also a master angler.
Bob was a devoted father to his children, Cam and Mackenzie Wilson and grandfather to Lucy Sunshine Wilson. He is also survived by his mother, Louise Wilson, sister Mary Billingsley, and brother Rick Wilson along with four nieces.
Contributions in memory of Bob may be made to Valley Hope, 1816 N. 2nd Street, Atchison, Kansas.
Visitation and Service
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Friday, November 26, 2010, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Funeral services 10:00 am, Saturday, November 27, 2010, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, Kansas.
