Bobby “Bob” Dean Kelley, 80, of Shawnee, Kansas, died November 9, 2011, at his home.
Bobby was born April 16, 1931, in Warren, Arkansas. He dutifully served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from the Shawnee Post Office after 28 years of service. He just recently retired from the Shawnee Mission Medical Center after 15 years of service.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Ruline Annette Kelley of Shawnee, Kansas; children, Donna Kelley of Kansas City, Missouri, James Kelley of Overland Park, Kansas, Rhonda Kelley of DeSoto, Kansas, and Tracy Kelley of Lenexa, Kansas; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 brother, 2 sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 13, 2011, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 14, 2011, at the chapel. Burial in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
