Bonnie Jean (James) Reed

Bonnie Jean Reed, born February 26, 1930, passed away October 15, 2022, at the age of 92.

Graveside service to be announced later at Laughlin Cemetery in Camdenton, MO.

Bonnie was born on a farm near Hatfield, MO to Clarence Jess and Velma Rinehart James.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bob Reed of 57 years, and 2 sisters, Donna Wilburn and Joy Ragan.

She is survived by her son Mike Reed and his wife Barb of Overland Park; two grandsons, Shaun Reed and his wife Cassandra and daughter Alessandra (Ally) of Santa Barbara, CA; Kevin Reed and his wife Charlene and two children, Evelyn (Evee) and Edmund (Eddy) of Lenexa, KS. Bonnie is also survived by two sisters; Katie Campbell and Mary Ury and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bonnie attended Hatfield High School and Kansas City Business College.

She lived in Camdenton, MO for over 40 years. She retired after many years as office manager at Blair Cedar and Novelty Company in Camdenton, MO, and was a long-standing member of the Community Christian Church.

After many years in Camdenton, Bonnie enjoyed about 20 years of retirement in Fort Meyers, FL, where she had many friends.

She moved to Overland Park, KS in 2018.
