Bounchanh Manhnieo, 85, of Olathe, Kansas passed away Tuesday, January 21 at his home.

Bounchanh was born August 5, 1928 in Bane Phalane, Thailand. Bouchanh moved to Laos where he met his wife Nheng, and started a family. He immigrated to America and became a citizen in 1995. Bouchanh was a co-owner of Asian Food Market where he worked along side his family.

Bounchanh is survived by his loving wife Nheng Manhnieo; four sons, Kora Manhnieo and wife Maniphet; Johnson Manhnieo and wife Pinkaew; Warren Manhnieo and wife Noukham; Edward Manhnieo and wife Phanitda; three daughters, Lay Phongkhamdy and husband Bounlob; Amy Manhnieo; Joy Keovilavong and husband Mai; 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, January 24 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
