Bradley Charles Cook left us all too soon on October 29, 2013, at the age of 22. Brad was the hardest working person you ever knew and he would stop whatever he was doing to help out a friend or person in need. Brad loved motorcycles, trucks and tools his entire life - they just got bigger as he grew. He started out on a dirt bike and eventually worked his way up to owning a Harley Davidson Street Glide. His Harley was his pride and joy, third only next to his family and his girlfriend. His Ford F-250 pickup truck was not just a nice truck, but a working truck for hauling hay, horse trailers, heavy equipment and just about anything else. Brad was a natural water skier and wakeboarder, but he always preferred cowboys boots and work boots over tennis shoes.
We miss him but we are all so thankful that Brad spent his years as part of our lives. His parents, sister, brothers, grandparents, girlfriend and many friends are still here and celebrate the time we had with Brad.
Brad was an Eagle Scout and graduated from De Soto High School. He attended Johnson County Community College and rode his Harley far and wide with friends when he wasn't working. We love you and miss you Brad.
A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m., Monday, November 4, 2013, at the Amos Funeral Home, in Shawnee, with family and friends gathering at the VFW Hall in De Soto, Kansas, following the service.
