Brandon Kyle Warren, 35, of DeSoto, KS passed away Nov. 3, 2014. He was born Aug. 4, 1979 in Ardmore, OK to Marvin Wood and Debby (Williams) Atkinson. He graduated from Norman High School in 1998. Brandon served two years with the US Marine Reserve. Brandon will be forever remembered for his sense of humor and kind heart. He loved to skateboard throughout his childhood, most recently he learned to love golf, and enjoyed watching professional sports where he gained a vast knowledge of player stats perfecting his fantasy teams. Depression was a battle Brandon fought each day, even during the darkest of times he still cared for his friends and family, putting them first. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Claude and Tess Williams, of Pauls Valley, OK. Brandon is survived by his parents Debby and Ron Atkinson, of DeSoto, KS, daughter Madison of Moore, OK, Aunts, Judy (Jack) Schiefer, of Salt Lake City, UT, Libby Williams, of Salt Lake City, UT, Brenda Nelson of Austin, TX, two uncles, David (Lisa) Williams of Norman, OK and John (Jane) Williams of Edmond, OK. And nine cousins. Brandon was greatly loved by his family and will be forever missed.

Visitation & Funeral

A visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 7:30 pm at the Amos Family Funeral Home & Crematory. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at Kaw Prairie Community Church in Lenexa, KS.
