Brenda Cantrell

Brenda Kay Greene Cantrell, 69, passed away unexpectedly Saturday March 1st from natural causes. She was born November 20, 1950 at home in Fordland, Missouri.  She was the youngest of four children born to Arthur Greene and Beulah Gladys Loveland Greene, who preceded her in death.

Brenda worked a number of years as a mortgage underwriter for Wells Fargo.  She also worked at Classic Statuary that she truly enjoyed. She was an involved stay-at-home parent during her children's elementary years actively participating in PTA.  She made sure to attend all their activities at school, sports, etc.

Brenda married the love of her life, Lowell Cantrell, on January 26th, 1978, in Springfield, Missouri.  Together they had two children, daughter, Kristie and son, Marshall.

Brenda loved taking trips with Lowell, sharing gossip with her dear friend Cheri, and spending time with her beloved Grandson Gene and granddaughter Elizabeth Leishman.

She was a breast cancer survivor.

Brenda is survived by her dear husband Lowell, daughter Kristie Cantrell, son Marshall Cantrell, grandson Gene Cantrell, and granddaughter Elizabeth Leishman, sister, Ida Cox and her husband Ted Cox, sister-in-law Dee Greene, and brother-in-law Steve Cantrell and his wife Kathy.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her half brother LD, her sister Linda Stroud, brother Art Greene, daughter-in-law Jen Cantrell.

Funeral service to be held Saturday March 7, at 12:00 pm at the Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66203.
