Bridget Lietzke, 42, of Overland Park KS went to join the Lord and her vast family, Monday September 29, 2014 after her courageous battle with cancer.
She was born September 25, 1972 in Merriam Ks.
Bridget will always be remembered by her loving and giving nature. She always put herself last with everything she did in life and everybody first. Her infectious laugh and smile always turned a bad thing into something good.
And as her friends will say, you did have to fudge the time an affair was starting so that she would have time to get her hair just right!!
And, at family dinners the running joke was to have Bridget bring the rolls, but to make sure you had some on hand since she was somewhat forgetful.
But that was what made her so loveable and caring.
She was the first of multiple 5 generations of family and was preceded in death by her great-great-grandparents, great-grandparents and grandfather Bill Clark.
Her Uncle Jonathan (Jackie) Lietzke preceded her in 1993.
She is survived by father Donald (Deb), mother Linda, brother Jeff, step-sisters Kelly, Kim (Josh) and Stephanie, step-brothers Jim and Mike, uncle Bill (Susan) and Brett, aunts Terri (Ron) and Tracey (Aaron), grandparents Jack, Rowena, Thelma (Granny) and Jan and many, many other family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday October 11 from 12:00 to 5:00 PM at the home of Don Lietzke. For location information please see Bridget's Facebook page.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions to St. Luke’s Hospice House at www.saintlukesgiving.org/hospice
