Bruce E. Ferrin

Bruce E. Ferrin, 76, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 at Advent Health Medical Center. Bruce was born on October 18, 1942, in Monterey Park, California to Parley and Dorothy (Smith) Ferrin. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jerry Ferrin and grandson Jonathan Ferrin. He is survived by his wife, Ardith (Elliott) Ferrin; sons, Kenton (Monica) Ferrin and Steve (Paula) Ferrin; his five grandchildren Tyler Cattelino, Emma, Nick, Seth and Shane Ferrin. Also, his sister Nancy Tooley and many nieces and nephews.  He served his country in the United States Air Force.  He was trained as a jet mechanic.  He was employed by General Motors Fairfax for 30 years retiring in 2001.

A visitation will be from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm, Saturday, June 22 at Legacy Christian Church-Overland Park, 10150 Antioch Rd, Overland Park, KS 66212. A funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm, Sunday, June 23 at Legacy Christian Church-Overland Park.
