Bruce E. Hawk, 75, of Overland Park, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at his home.

Bruce was born November 9, 1941 to the late Edward and Olive Hawk in Kansas City, Missouri.  He graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School in 1959.  Bruce owned and operated his own lawn care business, Green Expectations, for the last 30 years. He was an animal lover and rescued several strays.  Bruce was active in Woodson Ave. Bible Church where he had many dear friends.

He is survived by a son, Lance Hawk; his brothers, Frank Hawk and wife Ginny; Byron Hawk and wife Norma; a sister, Barbara Clayton; his beloved cats, Sweetness and Little Mama.  Bruce is also preceded in death by a dear friend, Alice.

Celebration of Life Services

A celebration of Bruce's life will be 4 p.m. Saturday, September 23rd at the Amos Family Funeral Home in Shawnee. The family will greet friends following the service.
