Burdett E. Jung

Burt E. Jung, 87, of Basehor, KS passed away, Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the Olathe Hospice House. Private family graveside services are pending.

Mr. Jung was born October 21, 1933 in Nelson, NE to Albert and Ruth (Bittinger) Jungck.

Burt retired from Mobil Oil Corporation after 40 years. In his retirement he loved driving a school bus for the Basehor-Linwood School District for 12 years. He also worked at Kansas Speedway. He was a member of Basehor United Methodist Church and Desoto Lodge #78.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Elaine Jung; his children, Bobbi Jung, Greg (Diane) Stamp, Donn (Audrey) Stamp, Sharon (Dave) McArdle and Juliann (Steve) Miller; a brother, Richard; eight grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
