Carl Robert Hoehn went home to the Lord on December 6th, 2023 after a brief illness at Advent Health, Shawnee Mission Hospital. He was born in Odessa, Missouri on January 25th, 1943 to Carl R. and Ella Mae Hoehn. He was a graduate of Central Missouri State College at Warrensburg, Missouri with a bachelors degree in Education. He was also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. He pursued a career with Social Security Administration from whence he retired in 1995. After his retirement, he pursued many of his personal interests, including many continuing education courses at Johnson County Community College, as well as memberships to multiple gardening societies. He also donated his time to local charities, including museums, thrift stores and food pantries. He was an active member of the Countryside Christian Church of Mission, KS.

He was predeceased by his parents and his firstborn daughter, Rustine Rachelle Hoehn, and his wife Scarlett. He is survived by his children from his first marriage, Carl Richard Hoehn and Adam Hoehn of Shawnee, KS, and his sister Barbara Vick, of Holden, MO. He has 3 nieces, Cristina Easter of St. Joseph, MO, Julie Schlie of Holden, MO, and Melissa Spratt of Holden, MO, who enriched his life with many grand nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the Amos Family Funeral Home.
