Carmeline P. Chalabi

Carmeline P. Chalabi, 88, of Shawnee, Kansas passed away surrounded by her family on February 1st, 2022.

A visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, February 6th, 2022 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 7th, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Shawnee.

Carmeline was born January 21st, 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri to Phillip and Josephine (Spano) Simone.
Following her retirement from Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Carmeline enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, preparing holidays and gatherings with her family, and dedicating herself to various ministries at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Carmeline was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Florence Scardino and Mary Cimino.
She is survived by her brother Tom Simone, son Phillip and his wife Julie Chalabi of Owasso, Oklahoma, son Tom and his wife Barbara Ann Chalabi of Burleson Texas, son Jeff and his wife Theresa Chalabi of Lenexa, Kansas; grandchildren Sarah, Michael, Christian, Matthew, Olivia, and Simone and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church 11311 Johnson Dr., Shawnee, KS 66203.
