Carol Hughes

Carol Lee Hughes, 81, of Overland Park, KS joined a host of angles to be with her husband Don in God's Kingdom Monday, May 7, 2018.  Carol was born on February 16, 1937 to Alvie and Clevie (Hix) Nelson.   She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Donald Hughes. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Myers; a son, David Hughes; her four grandchildren, Elaine Myers, Raymond Myers, III, Zoe Ferris-Hughes, and Brigid Ferris-Hughes.

A visitation will held Tuesday, May 15 from 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm at Amos Family Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Wednesday, May 16 at 11:00 at First Southern Baptist Church of Overland Park, 8600 W 91st Terrace, Overland Park, KS 66212 with a burial to follow at Mt. Muncie Cemetery.
