Carol Ann Reilly, 74, of Shawnee, died Monday, February 03, 2014 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.

Carol was born January 8, 1940 to the late Luciel & Frank Edward Carroll, Jr. in Leavenworth, Kansas. Carol graduated from St. Mary of the Plains High School in 1957. After high school she attended Creighton University for 2 years. On December 29, 1959 Carol married E. Michael Reilly at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother for over 54 years. Carol was a longtime volunteer for Boy Scout Troop 185 Chili Suppers and an active member of the Leavenworth Historical Society and St. Joseph Catholic Church. Carol was an avid Kansas City Royals fan and dedicated season ticket holder.

She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Reilly; three sons, Dennis Reilly and wife Marcey; Brian Reilly and wife Christine; Timothy Reilly and wife Tara Kennedy; three daughters, Kathryn Hunt and husband Thomas; Sharon Reilly; Maureen Reilly; a sister, Karen Carroll; a brother, Frank E. Carroll, III; twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation and Services

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 11 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Shawnee. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, February 10 at the Amos Family Funeral Home, where a rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m.
