Carolyn L. Heinz, 72, of Shawnee, KS passed away July 15, 2014. She was born Feb. 6, 1942 in Hoisington, KS to Frank and Isabella Riedel. She graduated from Otis High School in Otis, KS. She was united in marriage to Thomas L. Heinz on Aug. 5th, 1961. Carolyn retired from Coke Cola after 32 years. She enjoyed traveling to Grand Cayman Island along with other Caribbean Islands. Carolyn cherished her time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and infant son, Curtis Heinz, brothers Leonard, Charles, and Bobby Riedel, and sisters; Rose Marie Menafee and Joyce Bitter. She is survived by her daughter Tonja Zeller (Tim), son Tom Heinz, grandchildren; Jeff Zeller (Amy), Tiffany Chennault (Bobby), Dalton Ficken, and Five great-grandchildren. Carolyn will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. All of our phones will be much quieter now that our phone friend is in heaven. .

Visitation & Service

A visitation will be held Sat. July 19th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Shawnee, KS from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Mass will follow at 10:30 am. Burial will be at a later date in Claflin, KS.
