Catherine Lucile Guilkey

Catherine Lucile Guilkey, 89, Shawnee, KS passed away Friday, Dec. 30, 2016 at the Overland Park Regional Med. Ctr., Overland Park, KS. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3 at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Cremation to follow.

Catherine was born Sept. 22, 1927 in Bethany, MO to Clyde and Bell Stratton. She was an office manager for many years for various physicians in the Kansas City area. Catherine enjoyed painting, embroidering, bird watching, and cooking.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Hubert and George Stratton. Survivors include her three daughters, Susan Ingalls, Kansas City, MO, Cheri (Verlyn) Neufeld, Shawnee, KS and Jennifer ( Brian) Burgess, Shawnee, KS; son, Richard (Gina) Guilkey, Menifee, CA; eight grandchildren, Kelli Larson, Jeanne Ware, Jeff Cakin, Katie Wubbenhorst, Nicki Burgess, Richard Guilkey, III, Rachel Guilkey, and Jessie Smith; and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at The Amos Family Funeral Home.
