Chantal Nentwig

Chantal Catherine Nentwig, 81, of Lenexa, KS passed away on August 11, 2019.

Chantal was born on October 18, 1937 to Ray and Rose Haase of Lake City, MN. She was raised with her six sisters and brothers Jerry Haase, Mary O’Brien, Janelle Francis, Joanne Landers, Katherine “Kitty” Lawrence and Steve Haase. Chantal was married to Frank Arthur Nentwig, Jr., on April 4, 1964. Chantal and Frank were married 41 years until his death in 2006. Chantal leaves daughter Lenore Nentwig of Desoto, KS; daughter Michelle Weidner and husband John of Alexandria, VA; and son Brian Nentwig, wife Alicia and granddaughters Paige and Emma of Shawnee, KS.

Chantal was known for her quick wit and was passionate about drawing and painting. She enjoyed singing and tapping her toes to old familiar tunes and dancing with her loving husband.

Visitation will be 9:30 am Friday, August 16, 2019 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 12800 W. 75th Street, Shawnee, KS 66216. Funeral services will follow at 10:30 am with burial taking place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 8321 Quivira Road, Lenexa, KS 66215.
