Charlene May Davidson

Charlene May Davidson, 84, of Shawnee passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Lakeview Village in Lenexa.

Charlene was born July 8, 1925 in Kansas City, Kansas. She graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1943. On March 17, 1946 Charlene married Robert Davidson. He preceded her in death in August of 2000. Charlene was a member of the Shawnee United Methodist Church and was active with the United Methodist Women. She was actively involved with the American Cancer Society.

Charlene is survived by her children, Ron Davidson and wife Jan; Becky Whitney and husband Frank; and Gary Davidson and wife Shawna; a sister in law Ruth Lund; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Crossroads Hospice, 9237 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, Missouri 64114.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at the Chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Olathe.
