Charles Lee Duncan, 71, Shawnee, KS passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019 at Garden Terrace of Overland Park. Charles was born in Kansas City, MO to Charles and Velma Duncan. He was a 1966 graduate of Argentine High School. He was veteran of the United States Army and later received his BS degree from the University of Kansas. Charles found a career in property and casualty insurance as an auditor. He was an avid follower of Jesus Christ, KU Basketball, Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margo Duncan; son, Jared (Katie) Duncan, Lenexa, KS; daughter, Jessica (Andrew) Bridges; two sisters, Jerlyn Miers, Kansas City, KS and Debra (Emery) Wells, Kansas City, MO; and seven grandchildren, Kennedy Farrier, Hayden Farrier, Eli Bridges, Parker Duncan, Caleb Bridges, Malia Bridges, and Miles Bridges.

Visitation will be 8:30-9:30 am Wednesday, Dec. 18 at the Lenexa Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 9:30 am Wednesday, Dec. 18 at the church; burial will be 11:00 am at the Leavenworth National Cemetery with military honors.
