Charles "Charlie" E. White, 69, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away peacefully at his home on November 8, 2013. He was born May 21, 1944 in Kansas City, Missouri, to Owlen and Lucille (Spence) White.

Charlie served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Charles was a highly decorated veteran, receiving multiple Purple Hearts.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bobby White. He is survived by his wife Diane White; sons Jack White and Steve White and his wife Geri; daughter Tambra Brull and her husband Eric, son Jason Robertson; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; brother Jerry White; and sister Judy Rowland.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Leavenworth National Cemetery.
